Company Profile:
Maba was founded in 1983. The company first started operations as an exclusive agent for
Agrico Holland and an agricultural consultant, importer and exporter of seed potatoes, table potatoes
and agricultural crops. Maba for Agriculture and Land Reclamation essentially grows potatoes,
fruits and vegetables and has special nurseries for strawberries, mangoes and grapes. Our entire
agricultural harvest is grown with special care and abides by international standards since all
our produce is destined for the European market.

MABA owns several farms in various locations around the country that produce different kinds of
agricultural crops, e.g. potatoes, peaches, nectarines, citrus, mango and strawberry nurseries, Dates,
Grapes and Asparagus

All Maba farms and our packing station are Globalgap and Grasp certified. We also have designated
areas that are solely allocated to organic agriculture from all our varieties of potatoes, citrus, and stone
fruits. We are also ISO 22000 certified which engulfs under its umbrella the HACCP regulations.
In all our farming techniques we closely monitor and ensure safe growing methods and environmental
issues. We ensure that all our produce is in accordance to international standards of health and free from
hazardous substances. Furthermore all our staff are health checked and insured. We also try and ensure
that our working force is an average of 50% females to assist in the welfare and upgrading in their living
conditions.

Tissue Culture Lab
We have one of the largest and advanced Tissue Culture labs in Egypt, it is designed and implemented
for the purpose of Plant Multiplication and Export.
